The Central Bank of Malta is currently mass mailing the "Euro - An Informative Guide".
"The Bank is entrusted with all major central banking tasks, particularly that of ensuring the stability of the financial system," says its chairman. "It seeks to carry out its statutory responsibilities in the public interest."
Its primary objective is of maintaining price stability.
Published in November 2015, the booklet is currently being delivered to all businesses in Malta and Gozo. It contains pertinent information regarding the Euro banknotes and its new security features.
