The association recently held a seminar in collaboration with a med-aesthetic specialist.
The seminar addressed how locally med-aesthetic doctors and beauty therapists can better collaborate, "With regards to facial rejuvenation (Botox, fillers, chemical peels, skin needling, pigmentation) as well as hair removal," says Ramon Vella, the president.
Last month, guest speaker Dr. Charlene Scicluna gave a talk to hairdressers and beauty therapists who attended, as well as, to past president Corinne Farrugia.
The next seminar "Costing Sales" takes place on 13th June at 6:30pm.
HBF's objective and mission is to bring together all parties within the hair, beauty and nails industry to collaborate in issues relating to the industry in a professional and ethical manner.
